WHAT IS PHLOZ QLYNIK

PHLOZ QLYNIK is a movement experience where culture, musicality and expression meet.Inspired by the sounds, cultures and influences of Cape Verde, Senegal, Portugal the Caribbean and the wider African diaspora, each session explores rhythm, presence, storytelling and personal expression through movement.Drawing from Hip Hop, Street Dance, Krump, Dancehall, Ghetto Zouk and urban movement practices, PHLOZ QLYNIK offers a unique space to train, create, connect and grow.EVERY RHYTHM HAS A STORY.

FLOWS DELGADO

Founder & Creative Director of PHLOZ QLYNIK.Choreographer, educator and artist developer with over 25 years of experience developing dancers, creating work and building creative communities.My mission is simple:CHALLENGE PEOPLE WITHOUT DIMINISHING THEM.Through discipline, creativity and community, I help dancers build confidence, discover their artistic identity and realise their potential.

PHLOZ QLYNIK extends beyond the studio.Alongside regular classes and workshops, Flows organizes events that bring together dancers, DJs, MCs and creatives under one roof, creating opportunities for connection, collaboration and artistic exchange.From movement sessions and creative gatherings to multidisciplinary events celebrating urban culture, PHLOZ QLYNIK is committed to building community as well as developing talent.Because dance doesn't exist in isolation.
